enchantedengland: The Victoria and Albert Museum is kind of like heaven on earth, it’s in London, and it is free!! Free, free, free, not a pee for you or me. The V&A is the world’s largest museum of decorative arts and design, and whether you wish to gawk at Henry VIII’s writing desk or a sculpture by Rodin, your particular passion will undoubtedly be satisfied here. The museum houses a permanent collection of over 4.5 MILLION OBJECTS and that is a whole lot of crap to house, you know.
The museum covers 12.5 acres and 145 galleries; spanning 5,000 years of art from ancient times to the present day; and you may find it in South Kensington. The image is from the central garden.
