Why I love Thor so damn much.

He’s an idiot and he’s a pompous asshat for the most part. He thinks everyone loves him and literally doesn’t understand sometimes if you don’t like him. 

However, he is full of such love. I love Loki, but gosh if he were actually your brother you’d have a lot of reason to hate the fuck out of the little shit. Yet, time and time again Thor forgives his brother. Even when Loki argues that they’re not family, Thor doesn’t care and still calls him brother. He calls Asgard their home. He calls Odin their father. He tells Loki how they played together and grew up together. 

Thor in many ways is a big, goofy Golden Retriever. A bit slow sometimes, but full of love and loyalty and no one can get in the way of that.

I’ve been getting a little tired of how people on tumblr are all “poor loki! thor is mean to him”.  I mean come on did we even see the same movies?  Thor basically spends all of Avengers trying to hug Loki better and feeling confused and hurt when it doesn’t work.

^ This. And this is why I felt so sad whenever I saw Thor in that movie.
